Many of your beliefs formulated when you were unable to express emotions that needed to be felt at the time. For most of our childhood years we were told don't do this... don't be angry... go to your room.
In fact, most of the time our 'negative' emotions were simply not allowed. Perhaps it's because when we felt our emotions out loud, we made others feel uncomfortable. This is because we are reflecting what is already inside that other person.
It is not other people that 'make' us angry - it is that we already contain unexpressed anger within us - and that emotion is trying to find its way out.
So next time someone triggers a feeling within you, give thanks - for they are giving you the opportunity to feel, release and heal.
The key in creating lasting peace is to allow your emotions to be felt.
Emotions are not of soul, they are of mind, and always based on your judgements of past experiences. Feelings on the other hand, are of your soul. They are the purest form of energy.
Gratitude is not an emotion. It is a feeling - and is of the Soul. That's why it feels so good ;0)
