What does success mean to you? Is it being the best at what you do in your career, in your life? Maybe it is having a fabulous house or that amazing car? Being wealthy or maybe being happy?

'Success' can be anything you want it to be, it doesn't have to be huge or earth shattering, it can be simple and satisfying. It is about recognising who you are and what you have achieved!

After all, feeling successful is just that, a feeling, so learn to create that feeling for yourself anytime, any where!

Sometimes when you feel a little short on confidence, or a little less satisfied with your achievements, it is very easy to slip into a negative mindset.

You start to focus on all the goals you have not achieved, the plans which have gone haywire! All the wrongs in your life!

A great way to lift this veil of negativity is to create your very own success list!

Here's how:

think about some of your achievements, make a list of some of the ways you have been successful throughout your life.

As I said earlier, these do not have to be ground breaking, it could be something like passing exams at school, getting married, (or staying married!) having your children, raising them to be adults, getting that promotion, buying your first car, after saving for months...

Each small success builds on the one before, creating a step up each time and gradually building your confidence and self belief.

Go back as far as you can, make it a fun thing, your mood will soon change, especially when you realise you are an achiever!

Read it through your success list, focussing on the feelings you had at that time the each successful event occurred. Remember that feeling!

Acknowledge your success! be your own cheer leader! Re-create the fabulous feelings of success and achievement any time! why wait for someone else to acknowledge you?

By learning to re-create that feeling of success you give yourself the awesome gift of power over your own emotions!
Keep your list handy and go to it when you need a boost!

Remember - YOU ARE AN ACHIEVER!
