The first step to getting what you want out of your life is to create the space for it! Here are a few tips to help you do just that by slaying the energy drainers in your life once and for all!

Ever notice how too much 'stuff' in your environment seems to drain your energy?

The 'stuff' I am referring to, can be anything, for example: physical clutter, messy desk, piles of paper, books, clothes, toys. I call this visual noise!

It can be a revelation to realise how clutter and junk around you drains your energy, and leaves you tired and listless, even thinking about changing it can feel totally overwhelming.

Then of course there is the mental clutter. That ongoing chatter in your head (whether you are aware of it or not) which drains you and also makes you extremely tired. Thoughts zooming round and round can sometimes get to the stage that it feels like your head is bursting!

That is without the negative people whinging and moaning about what is wrong with their lives and helpfully passing on their opinions to anyone who will listen. I feel tired just writing about it!

So often we tolerate these energy drainers because we think we are unable to do anything about it!

Now is the time to take back the control in your life!

You can make changes, it is a matter of choice!

Try my top tips for slaying the energy drainers.

  • make a conscious choice to get rid of the clutter today! create a plan and make a start! DO IT NOW!
  • Use the 3 D's - Do it, Dump it, Delegate it to help you to choose how to be ruthless.
  • Become aware of the chatter of your particular 'gremlin', (that weedy little creep that sits on your shoulder and reminds you of all your mistakes) change what you say to yourself!
  • Make a list of people in your life, beside each person's name put + if they are positive person or - if they are energy drainers.
  • Choose to spend more time with the +s than the -s!

By slaying your energy drainers, you create space in your life for the activities which sustain you and build your energy.

Bonus Tip: Decide what new exciting activity you can focus on, to energise you, now you have slayed all your energy drainers!
