I hear this over and over - “One Day, when everything is sorted…. then I will ......(live the life I really want to live…”) In my work, I meet a lot of men who are holding off from living the life they want now, and seem to think that there will be an ideal time, in the future … when things will be different in some way. I hear them say… When: • my finances are more secure.. • the children grown up and leave home • the house is paid off.. • I have a better paid job.. • I have time…

This is based on some presupposition that there is some sort of apprenticeship to be fulfilled in life’s issues, and obligations which magically will end and then open a pathway to allow you to do what you really want to do… eventually..

There is a rude word I could use here… which is synonymous with “rubbish”.   The reality is that this sort of thinking is an illusion, a myth, perpetuated essentially in men, which is a very limiting belief.

Obligations, bills, car repairs, work, house payments, children, life… this stuff doesn’t end. There is no waiting for the good stuff as if it is some sort of reward for waiting…. and persevering.

What are you waiting for? STOP WAITING!  You are wasting your life! Wake up!

If you really want to do something, have something, be something - get creative, get organised, get aligned and get going now.

What are you willing to do to make it happen for you? Excuses about not having enough money, time, and too many obligations are just that.. excuses.  If you are not happy with the life you have.. do something now to change it.

Or is it easier to have some big fat excuse to ‘retire’ into the drudgery of life, because it is ‘too hard’ to get creative and fulfil your dreams and live a significant life?

Stop waiting… get started.. now is the perfect time.

Begin with doing something you love, for an hour a day… grow your passion.

You can do life and what you want at the same time…
