Executive Coaching with Kathryn Jackson

It can be a bit lonely at the top.

My executive clients tell me that they value our time together because it helps them to regain perspective and explore new ways of managing the business issues they face every day...within a safe environment and with somebody who's been there.

They tell me they can't have these discussions with their peers, they certainly wouldn't want to have these discussions with their boss and they would prefer not to have these discussions with their spouse or partner.

Thankfully there are some great executive coaches in New Zealand who can support you, and I'd like to think I'm one of them.

Benefits of Executive Coaching

  • A safe environment for exploring the business challenges you face
  • An opportunity to think creatively about how to solve your problems at work
  • A professional who will ask you challenging and probing questions

Executive Feedback

"...an inspirational listener and somebody who can be relied on to ask those deeply probing questions to challenge my thinking" Dave, CFO

"...an incredible talent for what she does and her coaching programmes deliver amazing results", Stuart, Senior Manager

"...the consumate professional, and delivers with warmth and humour to achieve exceptional results" Patsy, Executive

About Kathryn Jackson

When you choose me, you're choosing a professional who is academically skilled and with very significant experience - having worked in the corporate environment for well over 14 years before developing my coaching practice.

During the 'corporate years', my skills and experience led me to being asked to establish a People Management working group in a  bank, in order to build the capabilities of those in management roles.

In addition, for six months I worked exclusively as an executive coach in the finance industry, supporting top talent in regaining a sense of career direction and helping them to explore the benefits of coaching in their own teams.

In the last twelve months I've worked with managers and leaders across New Zealand in a variety of industries, and have delivered internal training to support the implementation of talent frameworks and career development paths.

I was invited to co-design the New Zealand Institute of Management (Management South) Coach training for managers, and supported the launch of the KEA Coaching Foundation - offering pro-bono coaching for the local non profit community, where I now also work.

My own passion for professionalism extends to my own training and I am a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (UK) with membership pending for the Career Development Association of New Zealand.

I trained with the Oxford School of Coaching in 2005 (UK) and have supplemented this with further training in NLP Business Basics, DISC behavioural profiling and specific Career Development training in the last three years.

I am committed to supporting the development of professionals generally and am the lead member of Professionelle, a NZ network of professional women.

Please contact me to find out more, and I'd be delighted to share the recommendations from executives I've already worked with.
