Everybody deserves to enjoy how they spend their time at work, and with a little support from career coaching there's no reason why you can't make some changes to your current role, or find a completely new one that FINALLY means you look forward to Monday mornings!
Working together we'll explore your career to date, what you've loved or would like to change. We'll explore dreams you've had along the way and put some plans in place to achieve them.
You'll amaze yourself with how much progress you can make, and will create a plan of action to ensure you can continue to fine tune your career for the rest of your working life!
When I was at university I chose to specialise in workplace motivation, because I was really interested to know more about why people enjoy work (or not!).
I then completed a post graduate qualification and spent over 15 years working as a consultant in Human Resources and Recruitment, creating career paths and frameworks for personal development.
I've worked with universities to teach students how to successfully apply to jobs, I've taught managers across a variety of businesses how to successfully interview candidates and I've supported businesses who want to invest in their own employees by creating career paths.
I've continually grown my understanding of the world of work through formal training including;
I'm also passionate about professional development and am a certified member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (UK) with membership pending for the Career Development Association of New Zealand.
In the last twelve months I've published a book about how to survive redundancy (How to Keep Your Cool if You Lose Your Job) and featured widely across New Zealand media, including radio shows and TV to talk about career development.
I'm passionate about helping people to enjoy their work more - and that's why I like to put myself out there to help you; by sharing the tools, resources and stories of people who I've helped.
I'd love to help you too, so get in touch! I look forward to working with you.
